I'm married – that's my wife, Ruth, to the right. She's a kindergarten teacher at Bergen Meadow Elementary School here in Evergreen. We have two wonderful boys – Eric (21) and Elliott (18).

After 27 years as founder and President of a business accessory manufacturing company in St. Paul, Minnesota, I sold the firm and persuaded my family to head for the blue skies and warmer climes of Evergreen, Colorado in 1999.

In the fall of '99, we opened the doors of our furniture store, Amber Doe Furnishings & Design. We had seven great years at Amber Doe, servicing over 3,000 customers in the foothills area. But, the physical demands of the job made me consider other options. On June 1, 2006, we closed the doors on Amber Doe.

That brings us to today. I have been directly involved in advertising and marketing for over 30 years. I have 22 years of computer experience, utilizing programs such as Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, FileMaker, Word, Excel, and a host of others. For web development, I use a great program called Freeway Pro. This site was built using Freeway.

I am also an avid photographer and videographer, utilizing the latest equipment from Nikon and Canon.
